These terms govern your use of DayKept and the public DayKept website.

1. The product

DayKept is a local-first personal archive app for writing, search, backup, restore and export.

2. Free and Pro

DayKept may offer a Free tier and a Pro tier. Free and Pro differ by the features described in the app and on the public site.

3. Purchases

Pro is a one-time unlock on this platform where you buy it. Not a subscription. Includes future DayKept Pro updates on this platform. A purchase on one platform does not imply entitlement on another platform unless DayKept explicitly states that policy.

4. Current product scope

The current product does not promise sync across devices, a desktop app or a web archive. Device movement relies on backup bundles, Restore from backup file and full archive export.

5. Your archive

You remain responsible for the content you create and for how you keep, back up, export or share it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation or use the public website for unlawful activity.

7. Availability and updates

DayKept may release updates over time. Statements about current features, pricing and platform scope are governed by the public app and website as they exist at the time you use them.

8. Limitation

DayKept is provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here removes rights you may have under consumer law that cannot legally be waived.
